Virtue Is Its Own Reward

The honest path is not easy, and the evil path is not without consequence

Life has many facets. In some cases, people live with emotions such as anxiety and fear, and then struggle due to the consequences. It is easy for philosophers to recommend letting go of things and erasing the memory. But it is not possible to simply get rid of past scars.

There is a big difference between giving up and letting go. In giving up, you beat a retreat by accepting the state of things, and thereby allowing the fear and struggle to limit you from doing your best. In letting go, you completely free yourself from things that do not serve you and you are able to progress. You liberate and care
for yourself.

In life, we acquire fear of certain persons or places, jealousy and even anxiety all of which are not well placed. Sometimes people have unknown fears towards death, diseases, etc. We try to shrink away from death and steal the very purpose of life. We must realise that knowledge is not some abridged concept but forms out of experience and experience invariably includes the result of past errors.
