Wholesome Healing

Balancing your body, mind, and consciousness through Ayurveda can bring about lifestyle changes

In the midst of concrete jungles, the digital era and the race to meet ambitions and goals, many have ignored their health, both mental and physical, which leads to a retirement usually fraught with related issues.

Sarth Ayurveda Retreat Centre, located a short drive from the Goan border with Maharashtra, offers
the combined benefits of yoga and meditation drawing on the immense healing powers of nature.

Goa’s well-known industrialist Narayan Bandekar started Sarth Ayurveda Retreat Centre in memory of his grandfather from Malvan to offer services to the people of the Konkan region and the rest of India.

The key focus here is to provide treatment to everyone in accordance with the analysis of prakriti (the essence of each individual) and ‘nadi pariksha’ (diagnosing through pulse), an ancient ayurvedic diagnostic procedure. The wellness centre aims to promote the growth and development of ayurveda and yoga globally.

Sarth Ayurveda Retreat strives to bring back the traditional practices of Ayurveda and make it accessible to all. The main purpose is to help guests regain their natural rhythm and attain holistic wellness.

Sarth Ayurveda Retreat

A visit to Sarth Ayurveda Retreat consists of satvik aahar (eating food that Mother Nature gave us i.e. fruits, vegetables, greens, sprouts, nuts and seeds) according to the prakriti of every guest, which is important to maintain the health of the body and mind.

The food served is a la carte in the retreat centre’s in-house restaurant “Ayur Bhojnalaya.’ It also offers buffets for groups of 10 and above.

The centre provides shadrasatmak ahar (mainly lunch and dinner) which include all six tastes i.e madhur (sweet), amla (sour), lavan (salty), katu (pungent), tikta (bitteer), kashay (astringent). This provides patrons with calmness, satisfaction, happiness and mental stability.
