TAJ: Back On Track

Cluster general manager of Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa and Taj Holiday Village Anmol Ahluwalia discusses the resorts’ recovery post-pandemic through its latest offerings.

One might almost say that Anmol Ahluwalia has been tasked with taking care of Goa’s commercial hospitality heritage. Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa and Taj Holiday Village were among the first true five-star resorts to open in Goa, kicking off an avalanche of launches over the years in the sunshine state.

As cluster general manager of these two properties, Ahluwalia has great responsibility on his shoulders but bears them with apparent ease. Still, he doesn’t rest on his laurels, constantly taking the company motto forward to put guests first and keep employees happy.

Both properties are in the midst of change, switching up culinary offerings in at least seven different food and beverage outlets. And Ahluwalia must oversee them all to absolute perfection. His background stands him in good stead – after graduating from IHM Mumbai and The Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development, he left his mark in different capacities at Taj properties across the country.
