Riddhi and Siddhi Mapxencar, Mumbai-based Goan fashion designers recently unveiled the latest collection of their luxe designer brand mapxencaRS ‘Love At Dawn’. Their spring summer 2023 resort collection is easy, romantic and fluid and is the first time they have introduced prints which are both abstract and floral. The mood is somber, sensual and feminine. The fabrics range from silks and chiffons to georgettes with classic sequence in the embroidery. The collection also highlights a range of silhouettes, from simple like kaftan to more complex ones like ruffled sarees.
In 2010, mapxencaRS won the Gen Next category from among 3000 entries at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive. Since then the duo has participated at Lakme Fashion for more than five seasons. Other reputed fashion weeks attended by mapxencaRS include India Beach Fashion Week, Dubai Fashion Week, Indian Premier London Fashion Week and others.
