To manage stressful work commitments and give time to the family, becomes a juggling act. So, how to be at the top of your game at work and have the perfect work-life balance?

In this case, the adage ’opposites attract’ certainly holds true. She’s chatty, he resists opening up. She, in full flow. He, bashfully short with his replies. She, a veteran interviewee. He has never given an interview – this is his first ever, his sense of humour filtering through some of his reluctant replies.

Glamorous actress Raveena Tandon and her distributor-exhibitor husband Anil Thadani are one of the most popular couples in India’s film industry. Tandon started out as a model but quickly gathered repute as an actor with Patthar Ke Phool (1991) which won her a Filmfare Award. Since then, she’s had her fair share of awards for numerous roles that spanned a variety of genres from comedies to crime dramas. Tandon, who recently lost her filmmaker father Ravi Tandon, set herself apart with an inspiring performance in Kalpana Lajmi’s Daman, a movie on marital violence, for which she was honoured with the National Film Award for Best Actress.

Her spouse may be from the same industry, but he’s made his mark on the opposite side of the coin. The founder of AA Films has brought dozens of films to cinemas each year. Thadani was presented with an award for The Distribution Personality of the Year in 2017 and is also the managing director and CEO of Cinestaan Film Company (AA Films).

Together, they make one of the most admired couples in the industry. While each retains their individuality, as a combination they are admired for their successful marriage and hands-on involvement in the lives of her two adopted daughters and their two children. Theirs is a truly dreamy love story.
