“Students are nation builders,” said Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant as he inaugurated the first Kota-origin coaching institute in
Goa – Motion Education. Launched in association with Excellence Education Academy in Porvorim, the new center aims to bring Motion’s structured academic ecosystem closer to the students of Goa. With over 19 years of academic legacy, Motion Education today has centers in more than 90 cities across India.
Holding the education portfolio for the state, CM Dr Pramod Sawant graced the event as Chief Guest, while educator and founder of Motion Education Nitin Vijay addressed the audience as the guest of honour. Other distinguished dignitaries present included partners of Excellence Education Academy Goa, CA Shrinivas Nayak and Ms Khairu Mavany, and director of Motion Education Dr Swati Vijay.
In his keynote address, Dr Sawant said, “Students preparing for foundation programmes, Olympiads, board examinations, engineering and medical examinations can now receive support under one roof,” further adding, “The faculty and standard will come directly from Kota to maintain the quality, and under the energetic leadership of NV Sir, students in Goa are in very capable hands.”
Highlighting the institute’s future, Dr Sawant shared that Motion Education has plans to expand to South Goa. “Goa has talent, Goa has ambition, and I am confident this institution will nurture capable and successful doctors and engineers for the future,” he says.
CEO of Motion Education Nitin Vijay, widely known as NV Sir, shared a career guidance session enlightening students on the learning skills needed in today’s AI-driven world, and the teaching methods at their institute. “We bring customisation to the table and push students to write their own concepts, so they become self-learners,” he shares. “We tell you how to tackle a problem, but you must learn how to apply it. You learn how to learn.”
