In a vibrant celebration of Goa’s cultural spirit and community, the Goa Tourism successfully organised two landmark events this summer – the Mormugao Summer Fest 2026 and the Goa Heritage Festival 2026 in Saligao.

Blending entertainment, heritage, music, cuisine and local talent, the festivals transformed their respective venues into lively cultural hubs, drawing strong public participation and showcasing Goa beyond beaches.
Both the events were conceptualised and executed by the parent company of Viva Goa, Advertising Associates, an empanelled advertising and event management agency of Goa Tourism.

The Mormugao Summer Fest 2026, held on April 25 and 26, brought the port town alive with a dynamic mix of traditional performances and contemporary entertainment. Food stalls were allotted to self-help groups from Mormugao, promoting local entrepreneurship and authentic goan flavours.
The two-day festival showcased a vibrant mix of cultural and entertainment highlights, beginning with a traditional Dindi procession, Shigmo dance performances, an all women Gondhal folk dance, Ganesh Vandana, and captivating acts by India’s Got Talent winners, the Prince Dance Troupe from Odisha.
