Agshikar has made his book interactive and easy to read by using short quotes, drawings and photographs. The book is as wise as it is understated, carefully balancing the words used to<br>express his thoughts and observations on the process of designing simple but aesthetic buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Filled with beautiful drawings, illustrations and photographs, it offers a good introduction to the way an architect can see the world and adapt simplicity to create something delightful, just like this book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this book, the author speaks about the origin of design by enumerating the importance of lines drawn in different planes that give shape to plans, sections and elevations. These ultimately help in choreographing<br>three-dimensional spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also emphasises the importance of being able to draw or colour like a child.<br><br>Agshikar believes that simplicity is the key to designing beautiful buildings that can touch one\u2019s heart and have spiritual connections.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ar.
